CRUDE DISTILLATION UNIT”· Working Knowledge in “CRUDE DISTILLATION UNIT”· Operating Pumps & Changeover of Pumps, Handling vessels.· Taking the corrective action according to Shift Supervisor advice.· Ensuring that all stand-by equipments are in healthy condition.· Hands on Experience on Distillation column, Pumps, Storage tanks· Ensuring all safety equipment & instrument in good health conditions.· Responsible for smooth and safe operation of plant and ensuring strict compliance of safety procedures and standard operating procedures.· Coordinate with DCS operator for plant activities· Co-ordinate with the technical and maintenance service department to solve the problem.· To maintain process parameters, keep checks on quality, maintain them during the shift· Monitoring the smooth and safe operation of Rotating and Static equipment.· Recognize normal operating conditions of equipment.· To maintain process parameters, keep checks on quality, maintain them during the shift· Monitoring the smooth and safe operation of Rotating and Static equipments.Experience in Pre commissioning & Start-up · Handling all Permit systems (like Hot, cold work).· Tracing the flow lines vessels and make sure as per the P & ID.· Punch list preparation and marking as per P & ID.· Blind List preparation· Blowing (Air drying) of the flow lines.· Following Start-up and Shut-down Procedures as per Requirements.· Lock close & lock open as per operation.· · Purging of the flow lines with Nitrogen.· Mechanical Run test for Pumps.· Checking commissioning procedures and making changes as required.· Inspection of lines flanges for proper gaskets, inspection of Flow & restriction orifices. Control Valve stroke checking Logic checking with assistance from DCS.
