Responsible for unit’s complete supply chain activities including procurement of all materials and services related to the plant, its freight and payment.· Handling the team of two peoples directly and working with different internal and external stakeholders to meet company’s objectives.· Working closely with our overseas partners from USA, Mexico in implementing different supply chain strategies, transfer of projects to India and challenges in global supply chain.· Handling more than 500 parts directly and electronic parts indirectly from 100 Global Suppliers.· Handling different commodities like Electronic components, PCBA, LCD, Clusters, Plastics, Switches, Fasteners, Glass, adhesives, consumables and handling suppliers from different parts of the world, mainly China, Taiwan, USA, Mexico.· Ensured 100% delivery performance during global electronic component shortage and supply chain challenges with minimum impact on inventory.· Ensured 100% Sea shipments by Sea within three months from the start of Global supply chain challenges including freights by understanding the challenges, doing advance planning, working closely with import suppliers and ensuring freight cost to 1.5%.· Using SAP MM for creating Schedule Agreement, Purchase Order and Releasing schedules to Supplier, monitoring material status and analyzing inventory, updating material master.· Coordinating with PCBA suppliers for ensuring electronic components availability by involving in their day-to-day planning and ordering and ensuring optimum premiums.· Maintaining appropriate Inventory levels of these parts to maintain RM Days On Hand (DOH) targets of ISG Lonikand.· As a part of John Deere Culture participating in multiple company initiatives and supporting other departments in times of need, which is appreciated timely by leadership.
