   Sourcing, Procurement & Logistics: Rolling plan: Receiving rolling plan and monthly requirements from factory and scheduling the raw material accordingly. Developing sufficient number of approved/reliable and reputed sources of supply for different Items required. Inviting quotations from the suppliers, negotiating with the suppliers after analyzing the quotations duly giving a fair and equal opportunity to all the participants. Negotiating with transporter to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment; dealing with Couriers / Transporters. Releasing Purchase Orders and follow up till the material is delivered to the plant as per the Schedule. Contract (Mly, Hly or Yly) with supplier for Bulk Quantity, High value material for availing quantity/special DISCOUNT. Interacting with banks for getting L/C, attending query etc. Monitoring daily stock of ‘Solvent’, ‘High Value’ and ‘A’ class material etc. To ensure the availability of materials at all times and maintain the inventory at the optimum levels. Coordinating with Suppliers, Raw material Stores & Accounts departments for invoice, MRM etc Supervising logistics operations viz, inland transportation to factory warehousing and transportation for distribution of the job works plant. Preparing the monthly variance reports with respect to both quantity and rate of material supplied. Import: Receiving Indent / Sales contract from reliable supplier Preparing Letter of Credit. Follow up for Shipment delivery / non negotiable documents with suppliers/shipper/transporters. Clearance of material through Custom Duty / Advance Licence / Authorizations etc. Submitting Bill of Entries (Exchange control copy) to the bank.
