The product is generic and not one has been able to build a platform that offers true fashion. On the other hand, Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop.com will spell, at each point, beautiful and carefully picked fashion by one of the top stylists in the country.
Perniaspopupshop.com is a labor of love. The building of this business has had three distinct phases. The creation of the engine itself with the help of designers and programmers, the relationship building with the talent and suppliers, and finally the logistics back end, which has to work seamlessly to deliver quality brand value.
In the initial stages we have 37 designers to create different styles of clothing and accessories. Sizes will be based on measurements supplied by Pernia herself and will be the same across the board. Select designers have created classic styles, which are considered as part of their signature collection. The website remains fresh with new styles coming in every month from every designer.
Adding a personal touch to the site is the stylist’s own section titled ‘Pernia’s POV (Point of View)’ which models complete looks for the customers. These stylized looks bring in pieces from different designers available on the website, to encourage customers to make stylish choices. ‘How-to’ videos, packed with fashion and beauty tips go hand-in-hand to make the online shopping experience worthwhile.
Over time we will scale up the structure and increase the number of designers as well as the styles.
