About Deepa Agrawal

Over the past 8 years, I have been working in Azure Networking team at Microsoft. In my current role, I lead Capacity and Infra team at Azure Front Door (Azure CDN). In my previous roles, I bridged the gap between Data science and network engineering. by building monitoring systems to detect/mitigate failures, localize failures to devices, model demand for peering traffic, find anomalous traffic patterns to detect potential attacks. Specific interests include anomaly detection, capacity planning for network traffic, DDoS detection and availability analysis.Prior to working at Microsoft, I spent 7+ years in various domains including Embedded systems, Avionics, Insurance and Finance industry, Online gaming. During this time, I was building Engineering systems and Data pipelines using SQL server and Data warehousing tools.
