About Deep Sarkar
I am a Ph.D. graduate with a keen interest in science communication, science writing, and teaching. After 11 years of academia, I\'ve made a fresh start in the publishing industry as a science communicator. The best part about my job is that it combines two of the things close to my heart: writing and science. While academia trained me well in research and academic writing, my new job is helping me know the ropes of writing for the general audience. It has been, so far, an enriching experience and a part of me wants to continue being a science communicator and writer. However, another part of me still wants to go back to academia and teach physics to college students.
