Award-winning Marketing Executive who has played a leadership role in ensuring the commercial success and growth of iconic media brands. I\'m an enthusiastic marketing pro who combines strategy and creativity to reach and engage consumers in unique and surprising ways that produce results. I develop big picture strategic plans and drive the creative development process through to execution. I am a collaborative and passionate brand builder and thought-leader who builds great teams while contributing to a positive internal culture. Selected Accomplishments Established a marketing department and on-boarded marketing and creative teams who drove the go-to-market strategy that successfully launched the Smithsonian network brand and television channel. Created the Smithsonian Channel brand identity, including positioning, target audiences and look & feel, to create a contemporary brand that translated the Smithsonian to television. Oversee all global marketing activity which has generated distribution and viewership internationally. Develop Advertising sales materials that portray Smithsonian Channel as a high-quality, vibrant network. These efforts have attracted diverse advertiser and generated a tenfold revenue growth for the channel. Key leader in launch of Direct-to-Consumer OTT streaming product. Consistently increase brand exposure by producing successful activations at SXSW, Comic-Cons, MIPCOM, Realscreen and other events. Collaborate with Smithsonian Institution on multiple cross-promotional initiatives which have meet our business goals while strengthening their mission. Nominated for an Emmy for Program Promotion
