I recently completed a Human Resources internship at BigBasket, one of India\'s largest and most innovative online grocery platforms. This opportunity provided me with invaluable exposure to the dynamic and fast-paced world of HR in a leading e-commerce company.During my internship, I worked closely with the HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition team on a variety of impactful tasks, including:Assisting in the end-to-end recruitment process—from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and onboarding.Supporting the employee engagement initiatives, helping organize events, surveys, and team-building activities to foster a positive workplace culture.Managing and updating employee data in the HRMS system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.Assisting in drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, and maintaining candidate databases.Learning and applying key HR functions such as compliance, performance management, and payroll basics.This internship strengthened my understanding of core HR practices, improved my communication and organizational skills, and gave me hands-on experience in managing people-centric processes within a corporate setting. It also deepened my interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources, with a focus on talent development, employee experience, and HR analytics.
