Key responsibilities: Developer for the Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes (K8s) and hybrid connectivity platform. Azure Arc for K8s allows you to attach and configure K8s clusters running anywhere - on other public cloud providers or on-premises data centers - enabling those clusters to be recognized as Azure managed resources. Projects: Implement customer facing API calls for the K8s extension feature. • Developed API calls allowing customers to discover which cluster extension types and which versions are currently available in a region. Update our buildout and deployment processes. • Designed a solution and implemented all changes to update the architecture of our services deployed on our production clusters enabling deployment to 30 new regions in 3 months. • Resulted in a 60% reduction of the time needed to deploy to a new region and increased the resiliency and availability of our service as a bonus side effect. Enable Prometheus metrics collection. • Allowed our team to have visibility into our infrastructure health. • Caused a 30% drop in infrastructure issues causing customer impact due to early detection. Update the identity model for all Arc clusters • Azure’s identity provider enabled support for federated identities - leveraged this new feature to simplify the identity management story for customer clusters in a hybrid environment.
