About Diane Rankin
I’ve always believed we’re the sum of our experiences — even the ones that gain clarity over time. Looking back, my work in authentication, identity, secure digital commerce, and global client leadership wasn’t adjacent to cybersecurity — it was foundational to it.For 6.5 years at Visa, I led the company’s largest global authentication partnership, supporting millions of transactions while navigating PSD2/SCA, GDPR, PCI DSS, and the evolution from 3DS 1.0 to EMV 3DS 2.x. I worked across product, engineering, compliance, fraud, data science, and enterprise merchants to strengthen authentication flows, reduce friction, improve performance, and protect digital trust across markets. After a year of reflection, reinvention, and now formal training—including the Google Cybersecurity Certificate — I’m intentionally expanding into cybersecurity-aligned roles across partnerships and enterprise account management, where identity, risk, authentication, and AI-enabled security converge.I currently serve as an Advisory Board Member for the Women in Leadership Program at Ashland University, contributing to curriculum development and mentoring emerging leaders.I’m energized by roles where I can blend enterprise account leadership with: Strategic partnerships + enterprise account management.• Identity & authentication modernization (3DS, PSD2/SCA, GDPR)• Customer success leadership + executive relationship management• AI-driven workflows + security and operational efficiency• Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams• Connecting the dots across complex, global ecosystemsMy strengths: trusted partner & advocate relationship builder calm in complexity clarity in chaos obsessed with client outcomes strong cross-functional collaborator fast learner, fast adapter systems thinker human-first communicatorMy values: trust integrity excellence ownership continuous learning elevating othersI’m now seeking opportunities where I can apply my authentication expertise, secure digital commerce background, and expanding cybersecurity skill set to help organizations strengthen identity, protect users, and build resilient, AI-enabled security programs. If you think my experience could support your team—I’d love to connect.
