About Daniel E. D. Müller

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Colonial History at Ruhr University Bochum and Senior Advisor Politics and Communications to the climate NGO our common home. I navigate the intersections of academia, policymaking, and civil society—specializing in long-term strategy, rhetoric, and political communication.Previously, I put words into action as a senior speechwriter for Angela Merkel’s deputy, advising top-level decision-makers on communication and strategy. I also serve on the boards of several trusts, charities, and research organizations dedicated to research on the Third Reich.Armed with a PhD from Bonn and Harvard and degrees in History, Philosophy, Theology, Economics, and Educational Sciences, I write, build, and strategize for a living. I turn ideas into action, cut through red tape, and get things done.
