About Dede Griffith
DeDe has 29 years of experience in workforce development and higher education, specializing in engineering and manufacturing industries, and is committed to designing and building strong talent development ecosystems. An innovative thinker and disruptor of traditional education systems, she is a catalyst for change, connecting industry partnerships, innovative training solutions, and student success. Griffith earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Supervision – Occupational Technology and a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston. She is currently pursuing her doctorate at South College. She served as the founding President of the Texas Dual Credit Alliance (TDCA), a NACEP organization. Griffith is a former Aspen Presidential Fellow, Aspen Equity Fellow, and NC3 Workforce Leadership Fellow. Selected as one of six inaugural 20••••25 National Science Foundation (NSF) Community College President’s Initiative (CCPI) STEM Fellows, she currently serves as a mentor in the program.
