ABOUT DECLAN MURRAY
Current senior at the University of Utah pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism. My academic and professional interests reside within the hospitality industry, where I continue to be fascinated by the ever-changing field. Through my diverse work and internship experiences, I have gained valuable insights in order to be a disruptor within the hospitality and service industries. My ability to quickly adapt and avidly learn has allowed me to excel in every opportunity I\'ve received, and continued to broaden my toolbelt of top-tier hospitality practices. I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can contribute to creating exceptional experiences for clients and guests. Beyond academics, I have spent much of my life as a competitive snowboarder, traveling and training around the world for numerous competitions. Most recently, I ranked among the top 20 in the 2024 FIS North American Snowboard-Cross Tour. These experiences are a testament to my strong work ethic, discipline, and time-management abilities. all of which I plan to utilize in the next steps of my career.
