I am the Head of Procurement for the Tate Galleries, looking after the 4 public sites (Britain, Modern, Liverpool and St Ives), and several support facilities. I oversee all procurement activity for the Tate in line with PCR 2015 (except the art!), put in place policy and good practice and provide training for colleagues in good procurement practice, commercial knowledge, contract management etc. I also provide direct support for tender activities, advising on approaches to market, optimal evaluation structures, specification drafting, PCR 2015 compliance etc. I also manage several central and partnership-style contracts for suppliers that provide services across the sites.The budget at Tate that is influenceable by Procurement is approximately £60m p/a.
