Manages and resolves simple and complex employee relations issues and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Provides day to day performance management guidance to management. Implements established HR policies, procedures, handbooks and initiatives as well as provides input, recommendations and feedback for the development of new approaches, policies and procedures. Assists managers with staffing by sourcing candidates, coordinating drug testing and background checks and generates offer letters for candidates for full and part time hourly and salaried positions. Conducts new hire orientation and enters new hire employment data into the ADP Workforce Now HRIS system. Assisted the HR Director with the creation of the company wide Corporate Covid Preparedness Plan and Daily Health Check form. Created Covid Safety training to be used companywide by all programs. Reviewed and approved all Illinois Program Families First Leave requests and enter appropriate pay codes in ADP.
