About Debranjan Das
Don\'t find a fault, find a remedy\"~Henry FordThe words of the American Industrialist always inspired me as I graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur in 2017. My passion for Automobiles quadrupled as after my graduation I joined Maruti Suzuki India Limited as Graduate Engineer Trainee. As a Trainee, I had worked across all verticals and extensively on 2 projects in Assembly Line and Machine Shop. My task was appreciated and I received a Certificate of Excellence from the Executive Director of Production, Shigetoshi Torii.A keen interest in Marketing had driven me to work as a Territorial Manager after completing the training period. I was entrusted with overseeing and boosting the exchange sales business and building the True Value brand of the company. I was tasked with the responsibility of driving five parent dealerships across Gujarat. My work was appreciated, and I received the High Performer accolade during the first appraisal season and a Certificate of Excellence from the Vice President of the True Value Division, Aditya Agarwal.Diverse work in Maruti Suzuki allowed me to appreciate the technicalities of a Manufacturing Line to data-driven business decisions in Marketing and Sales. With an overwhelming interest in Mechanical systems and machines, I seek more profound knowledge and this inspired me to opt for the Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Aggieland. I have recently been presented with Bryon Anderson \'54 Fellowship for my exemplary academic and research achievements. I have successfully defended my Master\'s thesis titled \"Climate profiling of hydrocarbon-based working fluids for organic Rankine cycles\" and looking forward to my graduation in December 2021. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and joined Intel Corporation as a Process Engineer in May 2022. Looking forward to building a career with Intel at the Rio Rancho campus.
