Deb is a passionate storyteller who believes in a great story, wherever it comes from. Whether you\'re a sherpa, opera singer or a brand, you\'ll captivate audiences most by sticking to the tenets of good storytelling: details, strong characters, worthy stakes, and as little BS as possible. As managing editor of a Fortune 50 best-in-class content marketing platform (at Intel), Deb managed editorial strategy across a dozen international sites, developed content across digital platforms and spread the gospel of an audience-first, jargon-free approach to storytelling. Deb works with brands like GE, Amazon, Microsoft and others to develop content strategies, tell compelling brand stories, ghostwrite for executives, make AI drivel sound human, write video scripts, and more. She is the author of the forthcoming A DEVIL WENT DOWN TO GEORGIA (Aug. 6, 2024, Pegasus Books), a true crime dazzler about the 1987 murder of an Atlanta socialite. She has written for several magazines, including Forbes, National Geographic Traveler, Atlanta Magazine–and is the author of a dozen Lonely Planet travel guides. She\'s worked as a producer for CNN, taught magazine writing at the University of Oregon, and been anthologized in Best American Crime Writing. Deb is a collaborative, scrappy communicator, an ardent embracer of diverse perspectives, and a champion for inclusion and equity at all levels.
