We are excited to announce that our team is now Washington Energy Law LLP. We look forward to continuing our decades-long practice of representing the interests of public power (municipals and cooperatives), governmental, and other entities in the electric industry, including representation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The WEL web site is under development but will soon be published. My practice is focused on the representation of utility systems in matters involving wholesale energy markets, electric transmission planning and cost allocation, administrative litigation before FERC, power purchase and sale agreements, hydropower licensing and project development, environmental compliance, NERC compliance and enforcement, and other matters.
