1 of 2 Lactation Consultants, responsible for the creation and development of the lactation program. Currently providing support for inpatient lactation services as well as in the planning stages of developing a full service outpatient lactation clinic. Working with a variety of entities to build these services including finance department for coding and billing, IT department for registration and charting, and facilities department for space planning and design. Working on writing our third grant to obtain funds to provide extended lactation support and services to the south side of Chicago which has historically been lacking those supportive services. Recently worked with our employer based employee insurance to develop and provide lactation supplies and services to over employees. Presented the topic \"Breastfeeding - Something to Really Latch on to\" for the Women\'s Health Series for faculty and staff.
