In 1993 the late Jess Jackson & his wife Barbara Banke, proprietors of Jackson Family Wines, along with Rick Tigner, the company’s current CEO, had the vision and foresight to create Regal Wine Company. The family owned distribution company, based in the heart of Sonoma County, thrives today servicing the major regions throughout the State of California. We employ over 200 people and stay true to our roots by bringing a portfolio of world class wines to the marketplace and focusing on the highest standards of customer service. These standards and entrepreneurial spirit were this great company’s foundation over 30 years ago and continue to be the company’s cornerstone today.
Regal Wine is focused on the romance, storytelling and artisanal nature that are inherent with the wine industry - telling the story behind world class vineyards, be they located on the far coast of Sonoma County, in the heart of burgundy in France or down under in Australia. Rather than having this storytelling ability lost, the Jackson family wanted to find a way to continue to have their voice heard, along with other like-minded producers and partners about the nuances that make their wines unique, special, and diverse.
We pride ourselves on remaining true to our roots, by representing wines of authenticity, uniqueness, and family ownership. The majority of our wine estates come from a “place”. There’s a winery, winemaker, barrels, vineyards, and a commitment to long term excellence. We become the story tellers to bring these wines to life for our customers.
