About Debra Katz

I am a founding partner of Katz Banks Kumin LLP (formerly Katz, Marshall & Banks), where I concentrate my practice on employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, whistleblower claims, contractual employment disputes, sexual harassment, and civil rights matters. With nearly 40 years of litigating cases, I have had the privilege of working for many brave men and women who came forward to report wrongdoing. My clients have included high-profile people, including Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, Dr. Rick Bright, Dr. Julian Craig, Janet Herold and Irwin Reiter, as well as lesser-known people who were sexually harassed, discriminated against and wrongfully treated – by political figures, celebrities, sports team owners and people in positions of authority. While much has been accomplished with the cultural awakening of the #MeToo movement, there is still work to be done. I continue to fight strategically for those who face workplace harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in hopes that we will one day see lasting change.
