About Debpratim Adak
I am currently pursuing PhD in Computer architecture. High-performance CPUs are essential in modern computing but remain vulnerable to numerous security exploits, such as Spectre. My work lies at the intersection of microarchitecture and security, where I focus on developing practical solutions to mitigate these vulnerabilities. I am particularly interested in designing secure and efficient microarchitectural mechanisms to enhance system resilience. Beyond security challenges, I am also deeply passionate about performance optimization in high-performance microarchitecture. I have an interest in computer architecture, GPU architecture, and operating systems. Our recent research on accelerating in-process isolation safely has been published at HPCA 2025.
