initiative engages industry partners, who are keen to actively connect with schools and play a major part in offering high quality teacher CPD and ongoing real-world support, for local teachers and pupils.The aim, in connecting industry with education, is to help contextualise and further teacher subject-knowledge to ensure lessons are relevant and up-to-date for students as they leave education and enter the workplace. The aim is to work with and link teachers, pupils with industry in order to help engineering, manufacturing, design and creative industries, build an inspiring, innovative and proficient workforce by supporting Design & Technology education in schools & colleges.How it works!A company, becomes a D&T Association Blueprint member. This will be an organisation, keen to engage and work with schools in a local area and connect with teachers, pupils and parents. We help them work together, understand each other better and help to ensure pupils leave school, understanding the importance of achieving in all subjects and with an industrial experiences of real-life learning, a real aptitude and the right attitude to ultimately land their dream first job
