Deborah Norville is the longest serving daily anchor on American television. She has been a part of the media landscape for more than 35 years, becoming a household name in broadcast and cable television, network radio and as a New York Times best-selling author. The two-time Emmy winner is anchor of the country\'s top syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition. Until December 2019, Norville served as a Director of the Viacom Corporation, where she was a member of the Compensation Committee. Norville is a proven marketer. In 2008, she turned her long-time love of crafting into a business with the Deborah Norville Yarn Collection, manufactured by Premier Yarns. A new entrant in the craft yarn space, Norville helped gain shelf space and prime end cap placement in the nation\'s top craft chains. At one point, selling one TON of sock yarn (2.2 oz./skein) per month. A New York Times Best-selling author of a half-dozen books, her book Thank You Power was published in more than a dozen languages and was a best seller in the United States and South Korea. Norville is a sought after lecturer speaking to community and corporate groups, including the annual EY (Ernst and Young) Entrepreneur of the Year event in Palm Desert, California. Norville is a member of The Council for Foreign Relations and holds a Professional Director Certification from the American College of Corporate Directors, a public company director education and credentialing organization. She is a member of the Women\'s Forum of New York, an invitation only group of women leaders and Women Corporate Directors. Deborah is a long-time Director of the Broadcasters Foundation of America and former director of the Girl Scout Council of Greater New York City. She serves on the Children\'s Council for the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Honorary Board of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
