   Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Statistics Act as amended by the Campus SaVE Act and related reporting and disclosure laws concerning campus safety, the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), and the Safe and Drug Free Schools and Communities Acts. Assess the efficacy of University policies and procedures related to sexual and gender-based harassment, interpersonal violence, and other forms of prohibited conduct. Oversee investigations of complaint and conduct interviews. Advise the University community on how to respond appropriately to reports of sexual misconduct, including active bystander techniques.Partner with University stakeholders, to include the Department of Police and Public Safety, the Office of Human Resources, the Division of Student Success and Engagement, the Campus Counseling/Health Centers, Trojan Odyssey, the University Counsel, the Department of Athletics and the Office of Admissions, to ensure students experience a fair and impartial judicial process and are further connected to the appropriate resources and services.Train and educate faculty, staff, students as well as external stakeholders on trauma informed interactions, related to Title IX policies and procedures.
