ABOUT DEBORAH HINTON

Mobilizer; connector of people and ideas; an insightful strategist who cares about practical execution; communication and change management expert; experienced facilitator and coach. I like nothing better than helping my clients make sense of messy complex challenges; to look at alternatives and opportunities for reinvention and innovation. I believe in their potential to deliver the results they are after while creating value for the people that work for them and for the people and communities they serve. For good or bad I have a tendency to ask not “why” but “why not?”. Through a process of co-exploration and collaboration we get to root causes, discover deep insights and achieve breakthrough thinking. Using the principles of creating, together we design responsive, actionable plans that make it easier and easier for them to achieve their goals over time and build energy from the inside out. See my approach, below. In my practice, I\'ve been part of the \"inner\" leadership circle and teamed up with outsiders. I\'ve supported change from the foreground and the background. Having earned degrees in science and business; studied strategy, structural thinking, climate change and carbon literacy, I\'m most interested in Water - where it comes from and how we can monitor River health and and the health of the more than humans that live in it and around it locally, at a watershed level and nationally.
