Most recently, grew a non-profit community agency into a formidable senior care continuum that includes residential facilities and a full range of home and community services. Led first ever capital campaign resulting in pledges of $14 million; led planning & development of new state-of-the-art Memory Care facility; created award-winning programs including AgeWell Care Navigator. Strong collaborative alignment with board in evaluating and implementing major restructuring initiative.While at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) successfully led the development and implementation of new off-site clinics, physician practice acquisitions, physician contracting and compensation, oversaw large hospital renovation projects, as well as streamlined several work processes resulting in significant financial savings while improving access time, patient satisfaction and physician productivity.While at Johns Hopkins facilitated various clinical and non-clinical performance improvement teams, participated in system-wide registration redesign, oversaw creation of centralized scheduling function, trouble-shooting of revenue cycle issues. Recent activities include Vice Chair of the national Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS), Leadership Mentor for Leading Age PA; founding member of local Vistage CEO group; speaker and guest lecturer for several national and regional conferences as well as the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health.Recognition includes Vistage CEO Network Leadership Award, AJAS Chairman\'s Award for Inspired Leadership and Pittsburgh Smart 50 Award.
