ABOUT DEBORAH SOUTHERN
I use my expertise in organizational development, change, and leadership to identify how to align organizational culture and practices with values, goals, and strategic planning. As a researcher, consultant, and leader in organizational studies in the field of higher education, I am well-positioned to apply my expertise to design, develop, and facilitate mission-driven organizational assessments and strategies including missions, including to advance values around diversity, equity, and justice. I use case study research to conduct interviews, document analysis, surveys, observations, and focus groups to identify opportunities to strengthen organizational leadership and development.I am currently seeking a full-time opportunity in the Southern California area where I can lead organizational assessment, development, and change either in-house with a university, corporation, or non-profit, or with my consulting firm - Transformative Organizational Strategy, LLC.
