About Deborah Simmons
Deborah Simmons is a strategic operational leader and fundraiser for nonprofits. She’s co-founder and board chair for The Reentry Initiative providing transitional services to women reentering from incarceration. She is also a trustee for the Community Foundation of Boulder County and El Paso: Engaged Latino Parents Advancing Student Outcomes. Deborah spent twenty years in a career in the private sector, holding a variety of corporate positions in organization and leadership development. She served as National Program Director for the American Leadership Forum and with the Center for Creative Leadership. She also led successful sales campaigns in the United States and abroad for Fluor Daniel, Bechtel and other companies in the engineering and construction industry. Deborah has completed Leadership Longmont and the Boulder County Leadership Fellows Program and is a member of Longmont Rotary. Deborah has an MBA and MS in Addiction Counseling.
