ABOUT DEBORAH PETERSEN
I am a communicator, lifelong storyteller and former journalist who loves telling transformational stories about brands, organizations and people. Mentoring others and creative collaboration gets me up in the morning. I enjoy building and empowering teams to push beyond what they thought was possible. I am the former editorial director at Stanford Graduate School of Business and the former Editor in Chief of the San Francisco Examiner. I bicycled 4,697 miles across America and lived to write about it for The Hartford Courant. I opened my Write Yours Etsy shop in 2014 to quench my passion for producing fabric art and small batch, sewn goods.
