About Deborah Oswald
Throughout my career in commercial real estate I have successfully represented both landlords and tenants alike in expanding, improving, and augmenting their respective portfolios and businesses. My past experiences have given me a profound understanding of how to put a deal together successfully from A to Z and bring the right people together – landlord and tenant, buyer and seller, employer and employee, and so on – but it is my strong work ethic and interpersonal skills as well as my passion for what I do, that has always given me the successful track record and opened the door for opportunity. Prior to working in commercial real estate, I had a successful career in corporate recruiting at Business Management Services, Inc. After placing more than 700 candidates in the Puget Sound region—including many within the real estate industry—I made the transition to commercial real estate and development. Before my time as a recruiter I was the Regional Director in California and responsible for the expansion of Wet Seal in the Pacific Northwest, overseeing site selection, store development, operations and management. This experience provided a unique perspective from the tenant’s point-of-view, which has given me good insight into retail leasing and site selection.

In 2010, I was recruited by Nat Franklin to work at PMF Investments as Vice President of Brokerage and Commercial Leasing. My role at PMF is to facilitate the growth of the company by centralizing PMF’s leasing & brokerage and helping to build broader relationships within the brokerage and commercial real estate communities. I also lead the lease negotiations on PMF’s portfolio and oversee tenant recruitment, taking care to balance national credit tenants with local success stories to create the right synergy for each center. I work closely with the acquisitions and development team to select the right projects and see them through to fruition. I work closely with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and maximize asset performance.
