My career journey over the last 25 years has given me a multitude of experiences which I greatly value. I believe that whether it is product, brand, service or community awareness you are hoping to achieve - communications and the ability to connect with your audience on a relational level is the driving force behind achievement in any business. I\'ve been blessed to work beside accomplished mentors to whom I attribute my skills. I believe that my experiences have led me to finding my “life calling” working in healthcare. My healthcare path has been my greatest teaching grounds. Serving in healthcare isn\'t for everyone, I believe you are called. It is where I\'ve been able to step into the world of our patients, truly understand and connect with those who we advocate for on a daily basis. I’ve learned with every person I encounter that we all teach each other - that life is a precious and fragile gift. I have life stories graciously shared with me by families and patients.they teach me more about life than I can ever express appropriate gratitude.Their stories are full of wisdom and make me a better friend, wife, mother and to serve my community with an open heart. I believe in being passionate about my work. I’m not sure that I even think of it as “work” on most days. I feel that I am part of a collection of individuals who join together to serve and provide care for our community. MLK was quoted saying: “No work is insignificant. All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.” I strive everyday to meet this challenge.
