BLUE is a content rich event that provides a unique platform that brings together the icons and celebrities in ocean film, conservation, visual arts, science and entertainment to enlighten the public and further their professional skills and ability to communicate the importance of ocean stewardship. There are year-round educational programs and special screenings but the signature event surrounds an international film competition, an ocean conservation summit and an industry professionals intensive workshop conference. The biennial festival is held at different locations, but consistent with its brand and well-known goals each event includes screenings of finalist films, high energy presentations, thought provoking panels and incredible networking opportunities. Committed to using the power of film to inspire ocean conservation & stewardship, BLUE is dedicated to education and empowerment through entertainment and media.
