ABOUT DEBORAH BROWN MAJEKODUNMI
For 10+ years, I lead Institutional and Multilateral Partnerships, securing high-value grants that drive inclusive programs across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, facilitating partnerships with major donors: including the EU, USAID, FCDO, UN agencies, Foundations, and private entities, translating resources into measurable impact globally and strengthening business operations. My core professional values are \"people\" and \"access\"- principles I bring into every partnership, program, and platform I engage with. This is why \"Disability Inclusion and Accessibility\" is central to my work. Beyond my work in Grants Acquisition, I am also a member of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP), a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competency (CPACC) and a User Experience Designer (UXD) I support institutions, innovators, and teams build and scale social impact projects, products, and services tailored to improving the lives of persons with disabilities globally. In 2017, I founded KidsABILITY Initiative to champion education rights for children with disabilities in Africa through Artistic expressions and engagement with the children their care givers and education service providers. I am also honored to be an Erasmus Scholar (European Union), a participant in the Women X 7 program (World Bank), a Clinton Global Initiative Fellow (initiated by Former US President Bill Clinton), and a Mandela Washington Fellow (initiated by Former US President Barack Obama), experiences that have strengthened my global perspective and leadership. If you read up to this point it was nice meeting you! Let’s connect to explore business development for non-profits, accessibility, social impact innovation, or discuss potential partnerships in accessibility-focused content and campaigns.
