About Deborah A. Burza

I am passionate about many things (God, my family, and hard work are at the TOP of my list). In November of 2019, I started work in a new admin position and I have been loving the work with an amazing company and group of people!#SafetyFirst is truly the company\'s motto. Prior to my current position, I was the Director of Human Resources and Staff Practice Lead for Willis Law in Kalamazoo, MI until August, 2019. In addition to my admin roles, I was also the Lead Paralegal/ Litigation Case Manager, since 2011. I found my passion for HR & leadership while in these roles, which continues with me to this day. Prior to working for Willis Law, I was employed with Margol and Kirkpatrick, PLC. for 10 years, as a Legal Assistant/Admin, handling all types of family law matters, along with IRS and State tax dispute issues, as well as all office billing matters. I am a graduate from Central Michigan University, with a Bachelor\'s degree in Administration. I also graduated from KVCC, with an Associate\'s degree as Administrative Assistant, and certifications as a Legal Assistant and Word Processing Specialist. I have valuable experience as a member of the State Bar of Michigan\'s Paralegal/ Legal Assistant Section, a former member of NALS and SHRM, and also a registered notary public. My family and I also attend Radiant Church.
