WORK HISTORY
Union Representative @Fim - Cisl Toscana
Firenze, IT
A FIM-CISL operator plays a central role in protecting and promoting workers\' rights, with a particular focus on collective agreements, worker support, and mediation with companies and institutions. Solidarity is a core value of FIM-CISL, which goes beyond defending corporate interests to actively contribute to the development of democracy, the expansion of rights and freedoms, and greater justice and equality in the workplace. The union operates with full autonomy from political organizations, governments, and ideological influences, a principle firmly established in the FIM-CISL Statute and vigorously defended even within CISL and in relation to other unions. This independence allows FIM-CISL to operate transparently and effectively, solely in the interest of the workers it represents. This role requires strong negotiation, mediation, and advisory skills, fostering constructive dialogue between employees and employers to achieve sustainable and equitable labor conditions.
SKILLS
ABOUT DEBORA DINI
For 9 years, I served as an Internal Union Representative (RSU) at Basis Plant Services, where I: Represented 80+ workers, ensuring fair treatment and professional growth opportunities. Led collective negotiations, introducing and updating agreements (e.g, Smart Working). Promoted EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies for a safer and more sustainable workplace. In March 2025, I transitioned into a full-time role as a Union Representative at FIM-CISL, where I continue my commitment to negotiation, mediation, and worker empowerment on a broader scale. Before fully transitioning to labor relations, I spent over a decade in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and supply chain management, focusing on supply chain management. I specialize in building BPO services from the ground up, implementing KPI-driven improvements, and training teams to optimize their performance. Using a data-centric approach and technology tools, like the Microsoft 365 suite, I helped organizations enhance productivity and profitability. BPO projects in Supply Chain:#2 built from kickoff to release for international partners;#3 realized from zero and now on pilot phase;#2 engineered for process improvement;#7 analyzed for KPI implementation. I\'m a big believer in simplification to aim for better results every day. Technology is my go-to tool for this, especially Microsoft365, which I use to collaborate in the cloud and automate tasks. I believe in teamwork, and in last years I have been actively involved in training new colleagues, introducing more than 15 new people to the world of Supply Chain, Vendor Management, Effective Productivity and Outsourcing, both in person and remotely. In previous roles as a Vendor Recovery Analyst, Service Quality Inspector, and Accountant, I\'ve picked up a range of skills that help me see the bigger picture. I\'m not just about finding a quick fix; I aim for the more solid solution possible.
