With over 25 years of experience in clinical research, I’ve dedicated my career to bringing innovative treatments to patients worldwide. I am an Executive Director of Development Operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading one of our most strategic pharmaceutical accounts. My role spans from overseeing complex global trials to ensuring operational excellence across therapeutic areas while securing effective governance and standardized ways of working to strengthen the partnership.Before this, I spent nearly two decades at PPD (now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific). I began as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and advanced through project management, oversight director, trainer, and line management roles. In 2017, I relocated to the U.S. to join the Development Operations team, and in 2023, I was honored to receive the Development Operations Team Member of the Year award.My academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of São Paulo and an Executive MBA from the University of North Carolina. I also hold Project Management (PMP®) and Clinical Development Strategies certifications from Harvard Medical School Executive Education, which complement my strategic, client-centric approach to leadership.I’m passionate about advancing the future of clinical research—one that is faster, more inclusive, and truly patient-centered. I believe in the power of technology to transform how we conduct trials, reduce the burden on sites and patients, and bring hope through science. I’m eager to lead innovation and continue building partnerships that make a difference for sponsors, sites, and, most importantly, patients.
