ABOUT DEBORA BARREDO

From Brazil to the world, a highly motivated, focused and team-working professional with more than 10 years in the industry (7+ years of fire safety experience in the UK and Ireland and 3 years experience in architecture in Brazil and Ireland). Which involves leading small projects and developing and delivering fire strategies, technical drawings and occupancy analysis for projects throughout a diverse range of uses, such as industrial, commercial, and residential in the UK and overseas.How did I get here?I always wanted to live abroad and explore the world. So in 2014, after I finished my Architecture and Urban Design (BSc) degree in Brazil, I moved to Ireland. Where I had the opportunity to work in an architectural office and a fire engineering office, which provide me with good knowledge of Irish Planning Standards, Irish Building Regulations, and British Standards. It also helped me to further develop proficiency t in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up and Revit.After 5 years in Ireland, I decided to follow my second dream and took a sabbatical leave at the end of 2019, for six months, to travel around Southeast Asia and surrounding areas. The end of the trip coincided with the beginning of the pandemic breakout, extending my time off.At the end of 2020, I moved to the UK to start a new chapter in my life. Since in the UK, I have had the opportunity to work with great professionals in interesting and different schemes. I feel everyday is a school day. Looking forward to keeping growing and seeing what the future holds for me.
