ABOUT DEBI PRASAD MAHAPATRA

Before I came in close contact with Agile and Scrum in 2007, I had always believed “there must be a \'better way\' of working - a more human-centric way that leads not only to ‘better business results’, but significantly ‘better lives’ as well”. My journey with Agile and Scrum started when I worked as a Scrum team member in Siemens, Buffalo Grove, IL. That experience became a foundation for my Agile journey. I realized, the Agile way of working was that ‘better way’ I had always thought about. It felt that I had discovered a way of working that was so well aligned with who I was. In 2018, I designed the Human-Centric Agility Framework with a goal to make agile ways of working more human-centric and sustainable. I hope that the framework will continue to result in ‘Better Lives’, ‘Better Business Results’ and a ‘Better Society’.I have been on a mission to establish those \'better ways\' of working within my contexts of work, and beyond. I have found it hard to find something more satisfying than the joy of working together and generating success for everyone. It\'s always such a wonderful feeling to see the stakeholders satisfied with the value delivered! I believe, the ‘better ways’ of working are indeed the \'optimal\' ways of working; and accepting suboptimal is slow death. My opportunity to work with the wonderful colleagues and teams in various countries and cultures - the UK, the USA, Germany, Italy, India, Spain and Switzerland - has contributed massively in making me who I am. I have played diverse Agile roles - Transformation Practitioner, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Product Owner and Team Member - in different countries and diverse cultures, and have experienced how Agile takes shape in varied cultures.I have also been a Sustainable Holistic Organization Development Practitioner. And, Test Automation has been an important part of my Agile journey and experience.Specialties: Coaching: Customer-centric delivery-focused human-centric agile ways of working Agile Practice using Scrum primarily in the context of multicultural Globally Distributed Software Product Development Design and Deployment of Organization Development Interventions Software Test Automation Conceptualization, Architecture, Process Definition and Management Line Management (People Development) and Leading Teams Designing and Delivering Technical and Non-Technical Training Industry Academia Interfacing Domain Exposure: Rail Automation, Building Automation, Healthcare, Telecommunications Standard Exposure: CENELEC - EN 50128
