About Debi Mishra

I’m Debi Mishra, a Product Designer with a bit of a Matrix-inspired twist. Think of it like this: I take the “red pill,” diving deep into design challenges to really understand user issues. But for my users, I serve up the “blue pill” an experience that feels seamless, simple, and fun. I take on the complexity behind the scenes so users get a product that’s effortless and empowering.My design journey started at Infosys, where I led a project for the Microsoft Education team, reimagining their video creation process. This opened my eyes to design’s potential for real impact, leading me to join the Infosys Digital Team as a Senior Designer, working on dashboards, storyboarding, user testing, and more.At CBRE, as a Senior UX/UI Designer, I had the chance to work on impactful projects. I redesigned a survey tool that saved brokers around 15 minutes per survey, speeding up their process and making their work more efficient. I also reimagined a property listing document to be interactive and responsive, significantly reducing manual communication and dependencies—making it easier for brokers to focus on closing deals and meeting clients\' needs.Now, I’m an Experience Designer at Thoughtworks, working on solutions in the sales, customer & profile domain for a German automotive client. There I work as a single designer for those 3 domains that consists of a team of 56+ individuals.My background in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Bhubaneswar and my training in Strategic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design help me bring structure and fresh perspectives to complex problems.When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me creating low-poly art, learning new magic tricks, trying out art with the help of AI or playing soccer video games.
