TCOG is a non-partisan, non-profit organization formed in 2003 whose mission is to preserve and improve government transparency. Members and supporters are an alliance of individual citizens, journalists, media organizations, law firms and good government groups. We believe information access through public records, public meetings and open courts is critical for accountability, confidence and informed citizen participation in a democratic society.
