I am a tech researcher, academician, writer, podcast host, and Linux & LinkedIn trainer. I contribute to cross-disciplinary areas of electronics, photonics, and computer science. My current interests are information security and STEM education. I am available to consult online or offline. Let us connect and book a consultation!My expertise includes, but is not limited to, theory and practice of optical and digital information processing, holography and 3D imaging, image processing, pattern recognition, optoelectronic systems, public key infrastructure, and graphical authentication systems development. WHAT I DO: I design and develop custom solutions for digital identity, password and information security. I also mentor college students in advanced courses and projects in Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering, and IT through 3D Education, placing them in industry internships and helping them kickstart their careers. RESEARCH: My current research focuses on authentication technology, especially graphical passwords and privacy-protected digital identity systems. I conducted extensive research on 3D facial recognition and multimodal facial and fingerprint biometrics, applying it to asymmetric cryptosystems. I founded a new direction in artificial color perception using microwave technology. I developed a He-Ne laser-based precision displacement measurement system for monitoring moving machine parts. BUSINESS: I have co-founded several IT startups, including Infosensys Research & Engineering, DAZ Labs Asia, IoTektronix, and educational startup Learning Times, to augment STEM education and associated career opportunities.
