About Debby Cogley
With over 10 years of research experience and my unique perspective hailing from a small community in Alaska, I bring a public health lens to the business of getting life-changing treatments to patients faster. My vibe: a neuroscientist\'s curiosity about human behavior, a public health practitioner\'s systems thinking, a get-it-done operator\'s discipline, and a strategy focused mindset. Currently a North America Trial Capabilities Associate at Eli Lilly and Company, I drive clinical trial activation through project management and risk mitigation strategy across multiple therapeutic areas. If you\'re working at the intersection of wellness, healthcare, strategy, and human behavior, let\'s connect! If you’re in Indianapolis or Chicago, where I spend the majority of my days lately, let’s schedule a coffee chat.
Experience
Sr Associate - North America Trial Capabilities
Mar 2025 — Present · Indianapolis, IN, US
As a Senior Associate in Trial Capabilities within Clinical Design, Delivery and Analytics (CDDA) at Eli Lilly, I support U.S. and Canadian clinical trial sites with one goal in mind: speed without sacrifice. Trial Capabilities sits at the nerve center of clinical execution, and my work reflects that. I manage complex, high-stakes timelines with countless moving parts, using project and risk management strategies to drive regulatory coordination, site activation, and enrollment readiness across multi-stakeholder environments. That means anticipating bottlenecks before they become blockers, keeping ERB/IRB submissions, regulatory documentation, and training requirements on track, and maintaining alignment across CRAs, CRLs, specialists, and study teams simultaneously. I bridge communication across functions to take sites from protocol approval to first patient in as efficiently as possible.
