Hughes Europe is an operating, sales, and marketing organisation for Hughes Network Systems, LLC (HUGHES), an innovator in satellite and multi-transport technologies and networks for more than 50 years, provides broadband equipment and services; managed services featuring smart, software-defined networking; and end-to-end network operation for millions of consumers, businesses, governments, and communities worldwide. As Head of Human Resources, I provide strategic and operational leadership of the Human Resources function, shaping strategy and workforce planning across the business entities and locations within Europe, and I’m also a member of the European senior management team. My daily activities require me to analyse information, make robust decisions, challenge others, influence to gain commitment and work collaboratively with stakeholders to bring tangible value to an organisation. I have partnered with the business on the people work streams in organisational change initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, TUPE, international assignment and relocation, and redundancy programmes.
