As many of you know, I was an Executive Recruiter for over 30 years. My company, Professional Search, was ranked by The Phoenix Business Journal as the number 39 “Top Women Owned Businesses” & I was in “Today’s Arizona Woman Who’s Who in Business”. I went to work for Coldwell Banker in 2003. I assumed that finding buyers for homes & homes for buyers would be similar to finding candidates their dream jobs. My first year in the real estate industry allowed me to be named Rookie of the Year in Arizona. I discovered that both jobs were quite similar & my recruiting & negotiating skills stemming from the recruitment industry easily translated to real estate. In fact, unlike many real estate agents, if there is difficulty finding the right house for a client or the right buyer for a listing, I resort back to my recruiting expertise. Utilizing these skills, I find exactly what my buyers & sellers are looking for in a home or sale, ultimately helping their real estate goals come to fruition.
