ABOUT DEBBIE BING

I am a President and Principal of CFAR, where I\'ve worked for over 20 years. I also serve on our Board of Directors and co-lead the firm’s Family Enterprises and and Owner-Led Business Practice. CFAR’s mission is to help leaders activate organizations to achieve their highest aspirations—productively, meaningfully, profitably, and with impact. In my role, I serve as firm and business development leader, idea generator, and senior consultant. I am also a Fellow and Board Chair of the Family Firm Institute, the most influential global network of thought leaders in the family enterprise field, which CFAR had a key role in shaping.As a practitioner, my passion is in helping families with shared economic interests make decisions and implement change (usually in complex, emotionally-charged environments) while managing the multiple pressures of mission, performance, culture, competencies, and competition. I also love working with leaders of closely-held and entrepreneurial businesses to build organizations that advance their goals.As a leader, I aspire for CFAR to be a place where each of us feels motivated by our purpose, collaborates to achieve our strategy and goals, grows professionally, and personally contributes at our highest potential. To best deliver on our aims, we seek to be rich in diversity of all kinds and focus on practicing inclusion.A lifetime New Englander, I live in Middlesex County, MA with my husband and two children.
