As the elected clerk for a Michigan township of almost residents, I gratefully and graciously serve the public with integrity, commitment, and competence. My responsibilities include administration of all elections ensuring voter and election integrity, setting the agenda for the Township Board Meetings including procurement of materials and follow-up on action taken and contracts approved, as well as overseeing the Township Finance Department/general ledger. My department acts as the point of contact for FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) requests and I serve as the Member Representative for the Township\'s pooled municipal insurance through the Michigan Municipal Risk Management Authority (MMRMA). My department also issues and facilitates the issuance of various township licenses and permits. The Clerk’s Office provides Passport Acceptance Agency services, which offers a simple and quick method for submitting passport applications. I also serve on the Capital Improvement Committee, helping guide the Board in strategic planning for capital assets and expenditures. As a commitment to my profession, I have served in all Board positions for the Oakland County Clerk\'s Association and as Secretary for many years to the Oakland County Chapter of the Michigan Townships Association. I have also maintained significant involvement with many community and professional organizations.
