I\'m a communications executive with extensive experience in corporate communications, employee communications, crisis and issues management, and press and media relations. With over three decades of journalism and communications experience that took me from the White House to North Philadelphia, and from Major League Baseball Opening Days to Olympic Games, I recently returned “home’ to Aramark, where I had spent 15 years in the Corporate Communications department in roles of increasing responsibility. I now serve as the Senior VP of Corporate Communications, the first woman to hold that position.I left Aramark in 2010 to start my own firm, Albert Communications, which was comprised of senior-level practitioners serving as expert communications and marketing consultants (and doers!) for companies and organizations around the world.(That company is still thriving under new management.)With a degree in journalism from The George Washington University (an awesome 4 years!), I have extensive experience in television news, having worked on the assignment desks at Independent Network News (WPIX) and CNN in Washington, D.C. as well as 6ABC (formerly WPVI-TV) and KYW-TV in Philadelphia.From 19••••92, I was the Public Relations Manager at the Spectrum (Philadelphia’s former indoor arena), and before that, I handled all public relations and marketing functions for an association management company, serving as the spokesperson for 12 different manufacturing trade groups ranging from baby product and baseball card manufacturers to the pen and pencil, children\'s clothing, and waterbed industries.(And yes, I was on “The Today Show” with Katie Couric when we were both pregnant, showing off the newest, coolest baby products!)Outside my “day job,” I am the founder of a non-profit, “Guess Who’s Coming to Shabbas,” which began in 2012 in memory of my dad. It focuses on increasing engagement in synagogues and Jewish organizations by bringing families together for Shabbat dinners.(The pandemic didn\'t help!) I’m also the Immediate Past President of the Board of Directors for Camp Ramah in the Poconos. I’m a Philadelphian forever, now living in Fort Washington, PA. Of all my professional accomplishments, I remain most proud of the two young men my husband and I raised, both of whom will surely make positive differences in the world.Life is good.
