Knowing just what it takes to prepare children for medical procedures, I collaborated with the team at Reimagine Well to design the first-of-its-kind immersive education product that uses virtual reality to prepare children (and parents) for radiation therapy and MRI\'s at Nebraska Medicine. Patients are able to experience treatments and procedures virtually, at their own comfort level, in a gamified environment that is a precise replica of the room where they will be treated, lowering anxiety and the need for sedation.
