ABOUT DEBBIE KELLEY

I spent over 30 years working at what began as the Saturn plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee and is now GM-Spring Hill Manufacturing. Due to downsizing, I was forced to leave a job I loved in October of 2009 due to the economy. The good news is I was able to take with me the skills and knowledge I gained in those 30 years to begin a new journey. Among those skills and knowledge were a built in ability to work as a Team Member, not an individual, no matter what environment I am in. I also gained an understanding of how important it is to realize the benefits of working with a diverse group of people that bring numerous categories of experience with them and how to use their experience and mine to benefit my employer. Finding the positive in every person I come in contact with has been a direct result of the many hours of training I received as a Saturn Team Member. The experience of learning to work in a union environment is one that I will always treasure. Getting along with others, understanding their concerns about their day to day job and problem solving together taught me more than any book ever could. In February of 2012, I was called and asked to come back to the GM plant and work in the Facilities group. In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, I felt an unexpected urge to change paths. In September of 2020 I accepted an offer to work for Fresenius Medical Care. It’s one of the best and most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made! Specialties: I am able to multi-task no matter the events of the day.Getting along with everyone is one of my most famous traits. My extensive amount of experience in Word, Excel and Powerpoint allow me to do just about any task I am given.
